Job Description
What will you be doing?
We are seeking a highly skilled Toolchain Integration Engineer to join our team, focusing on optimizing and managing development environments for embedded systems. This role plays a critical part in supporting software development workflows, particularly in automotive and embedded domains, by ensuring seamless integration and maintenance of essential tools and infrastructure.
You will contribute to high-quality, safety-critical system development through efficient toolchain management and continuous improvement practices.
Your main responsibilities will be:
* Configure, maintain, and optimize toolchains to support embedded software development and testing.
* Administer version control systems (e.g., Git), continuous integration pipelines (e.g., Jenkins), and automation frameworks to improve developer productivity.
* Implement and manage static code analysis, debugging tools, and software quality checks.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, systems engineers, and quality assurance to ensure robust tool integration.
* Monitor tool performance and lead initiatives to streamline development processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Maintain clear documentation and ensure traceability for audits and compliance purposes.
* Contribute to process improvements, internal tooling development, and DevOps practices within the engineering organization.

Qualifications
Experience, skills and qualifications required:
* Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
* Demonstrated experience managing and optimizing software development toolchains in an embedded systems or automotive context.
* Proficiency with Version control systems (e.g., Git).
* CI/CD tools and build automation platforms (e.g., Jenkins).
* Static analysis, debugging tools, and other quality assurance systems.
* Strong understanding of compliance and industry standards in regulated environments.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
