Permanent, Part Time (0.6 FTE) The School of Commercial, Creative and Professional Studies at Merton College is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to deliver outstanding quality in teaching, learning and assessment across Level 1 to Level 3 Health and Social Care and Access to Nursing programmes. You’ll provide academic tutorial support to students, helping them to maximise achievement and drive continuous improvement. In this role, you will play a key part in developing the curriculum, ensuring that employer engagement and the enhancement of learner skills are at the heart of our provision. As our Lecturer, we’d like you to hold a degree or relevant professional qualifications in Childcare and Education, Early Years, Health and Social care, Nursing or a relevant subject, hold a teaching qualification (or willing to work towards) and have experience of teaching Health and Social Care and Access to HE in an FE College, School or Private Provider. With strong evidence of good-to-outstanding teaching, learning, assessment, and tracking, you’ll be able to use ProMonitor for setting targets, tracking of student progress and disciplinary procedures. An effective communicator, you’ll have strong verbal and written skills in both group and interpersonal situations, committed to working and contributing to the overall effective performance of the Team. You’ll be an organised individual, able to use initiative and work well under pressure and to strict validating body deadlines, providing evidence of assessment for Moderation.
