The Event Manager is responsible for all elements of the end to end management of an event, including sourcing, group air, logistics, financial management and delivery.
What You'll Do
1. Registration Management experience
2. End to End National and/ or International project management
3. Negotiation (Financial, Contractual etc) with suppliers
4. Communication with meeting owners
5. Operational management of the event database (planning, registration)
6. Accurate and timely data management
7. Logistical coordination of the event
8. Budget reconciliation per event
9. Sound Company product knowledge and ability to cross sell products where possible
10. Analytical Reasoning – using analysis of today’s meeting data for future event delivery
11. Onsite assistance
12. Financial and Data Reporting per event, per client
13. Additional duties as requested
14. Willingness to travel internationally – often at short notice
What We're Looking For
15. Fluent Business English
16. Additional languages are a benefit to the role
17. Customer care excellence
18. Proficiency in Cvent – data entry, eRFP, reporting, budget
19. Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
20. Proficiency in “Mail Merge” capability in Word and “Pivot tables” in Excel
21. Minimum of 1-3 years experience in event management
22. Flexibility and Ability to adapt
23. Able to work well in a Team
24. Used to working under pressure
25. High level of attention to detail
