Job Description
* Overseeing the engineering department's shift operations
* Ensuring all machinery and equipment are maintained to the highest standards
* Implementing and adhering to health and safety regulations
* Managing shift schedules and personnel assignments
* Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations
* Driving continuous improvement initiatives
* Addressing any technical issues swiftly and effectively
* Maintaining thorough records of shift operations
4 ON 4 OFF - 12 HOURS - DAYS ONLY
The Successful Applicant
A successful Engineering Shift Manager should have:
* A recognised Engineering qualification (Time Served/Level 3)
* Proven experience in a managerial role within a food manufacturing environment
* Good understanding of continuous improvement & lean manufacturing techniques
* Strong technical knowledge of machinery and equipment
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations
