Job Role: Complex Care Trainer (On-Call)
Rate of Pay: £26,000 to £27,000 per annum (Dependant on experience)
Organisation: Josh's Care Company
Location: Barlborough, S43 (with travel to services as required)
Contract Type: 40 hours per week. Must be flexible across 7 days.
Additional Requirement: Must be a driver with access to a vehicle

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Complex Care Trainer to join our team. This is a senior and varied role combining the delivery of specialist training, clinical administration duties, and participation in an on-call rota.
You will play a key role in ensuring our care teams are trained, competent, and confident in delivering safe and effective complex care in the community. This position requires both strong clinical knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, high-quality training.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver training to care staff supporting individuals with complex and clinical needs
* Deliver training both in person and, where appropriate, remotely
* Support the development and ongoing competency of care teams
* Participate in the on-call rota, providing guidance and support to care staff as required
* Undertake clinical and training-related administrative tasks, including documentation, competency records, and training compliance
* Work closely with operational and clinical teams to ensure training aligns with service needs and regulatory requirements
* Travel to services and training locations as required
* Promote person-centred, safe, and high-quality care practices in line with Josh's Care Company values
Essential Requirements
* Desirable: AET qualification and/or Proact-SCiPr-UK training
* Proven experience delivering training within health and/or social care
* Demonstrable experience working within complex care settings
* Strong understanding of clinical and complex care practices
* Ability to participate in an on-call rota
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
* Strong communication, organisational, and documentation skills
* Commitment to high standards of care, safety, and continuous improvement
