Next Ventures is seeking a highly skilled Oracle B2C Service Cloud (RightNow) Technical Consultant to join our project on a subcontract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on technical expertise in Oracle B2C Service (RightNow) with a proven track record of implementing, customizing, and maintaining complex enterprise solutions.
Start Date: 1st April
Location: Reading, UK
Duration: 6 months + extensions
Rate: INSIDE IR35
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and implement technical solutions within Oracle B2C Service Cloud (RightNow) in line with business requirements.
* Configure and customize the RightNow platform including workflows, integrations, and custom objects.
* Develop and maintain integrations between Oracle B2C Service and other enterprise systems using APIs and middleware.
* Support data migration, system configuration, and environment management across development, test, and production environments.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to RightNow applications and integrations.
* Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
* Perform system testing, technical documentation, and support deployment activities.
* Provide ongoing technical support, optimization, and best practice guidance for Oracle B2C Service implementations.
Requirements
* Strong hands‑on experience with Oracle B2C Service Cloud (RightNow) development and configuration.
* Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end implementations or major enhancements on the RightNow platform.
* Expertise in RightNow technologies such as Customer Portal (CP), Connect APIs, integrations, and customizations.
* Knowledge of integration patterns and experience working with REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills within complex enterprise environments.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
