Role Responsibilities
* Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
* Drafting personal and company tax returns, offering tax planning and wealth management advice
* Producing management accounts and VAT returns, ensuring compliance with all regulations
* Leading and supporting business advisory projects, helping clients with their processes and systems
* Liaising directly with clients to understand their needs and offer tailored support and advice
* Managing teams of staff on-site or project-specific, reviewing their work and reporting to directors
* Assisting in the development of junior staff, offering guidance and mentorship

Candidate Requirements
* Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant with at least three years of experience in either practice or industry
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and lead teams
* A keen interest in understanding client businesses and offering proactive support
* Motivated, organised, and able to work to deadlines while juggling multiple responsibilities
* Experience preparing accounts, tax returns, and management accounts
* Knowledge of accounting systems and processes, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
