Responsibilities
* Keep the kitchen hygienic, safe, and up to high standards of cleanliness.
* Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment and operate the industrial dishwasher.
* Assist Chefs with some food preparation where required.
* Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times and maintain hygiene throughout the kitchen.
* Clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using appropriate instructions and cleaning materials, including air filters and extraction systems.
* Support the team as a positive, collaborative member.
Qualifications / Skills
* Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Great team player; can-do attitude.
* Ability to help with some food preparation and to work to high cleanliness standards.
* Organisational skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to demonstrate reasonable/good understanding and use of verbal English and a reasonable standard of written English.
