Join to apply for the Paediatric Staff Nurse role at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust.
We are offering a substantive, full-time position working up to 37.5 hours per week on Howard Ward, a general Paediatric Ward for babies, children and young people from birth to 18 years.
Responsibilities
* Provide nursing care for patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions (including respiratory support, fluid management and pain management).
* Assist in stabilisation of the critically ill child under the direction of the team leader.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and deliver care, including outpatient, emergency and elective care as appropriate.
* Support ongoing professional development and leadership within the team.
* Support the aims of a high standard of nursing care for sick children and young people up to 18 years.
Qualifications and requirements
* We welcome applications from those who currently hold UK NMC registration.
* If you hold an overseas nursing qualification and require sponsorship, we are not currently direct hiring Internationally Qualified Nurses.
* This post is suitable for newly qualified nurses or nurses with experience, including those with an interest in paediatrics or prior paediatric experience.
