Your Role
Capgemini Financial Services is seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Knutsford, UK. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing the tools, processes, and infrastructure that enable rapid deployment and efficient operations of our financial services application.
Your Profile
* Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
* Automate build, test, and deployment processes.
* Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
* Use tools like Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation to provision and manage infrastructure.
* Ensure consistency and scalability across environments.
* Cloud Infrastructure Management.
* Manage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for high availability and cost optimization.
* Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based systems.
* Automation scripting.
Automate routine tasks using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Develop scripts for system updates, backups, and log rotation.
Monitoring & Reliability
Set up and maintain monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog.
Optimize performance and ensure system reliability.
Security & Compliance
Implement DevSecOps practices including vulnerability scanning and IAM policies.
Ensure compliance with industry standards.
Collaboration & Agile Practices
Work closely with developers, QA, and product teams.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
Incident & Change Management
* Lead incident response and root cause analysis.
* Manage change control and release processes.
