In addition, the following will apply to you:
* A significant portfolio of notable work experience in a similar role(s) and a track record of winning bids, and building profitable B2B relationships
* In-depth knowledge of the social housing sector and its varied approaches to meeting its repairs and maintenance obligations
* An ability to identify suitable bid opportunities, such as Dynamic Purchase Systems, Frameworks or contracts and a methodical approach to logging/renewing memberships of these schemes.
* A strong understanding of using sales CRM systems to record your progress and follow-up leads
* High level of competence in MS Suite software
* An ability to work with and manage relationships with bid writers to produce noteworthy, compelling and unique bids.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, able to act to address issues or to escalate, as appropriate
* Highly organised and able to plan to meet deadlines
* Commercially aware, you structure tasks in a way in which you’re able to be most effective in your work
Exceptions to this role’s requirements for experience can be made for outstanding candidates who can demonstrate that they add considerable value in other ways.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Bid management
* Manage the company’s membership of Dynamic Purchase Systems and Frameworks, ensuring that the range of opportunities available to the business is maximised by identifying and bidding for places on any existing or new opportunities
* Identify suitable bid opportunities for new contracts, ensuring that bid writers are quickly and suitably briefed to ensure timely submission.
* Being ultimately responsible for the company’s bids and ensuring that the content of such bids attracts the highest quality score.
2. Business development
* Identifying suitable networking and exhibition opportunities, and represent the company at these events.
* Conduct extensive research to identify potential buyers of the company’s services, and develop strategies to create new business opportunities with them
* Enhance the awareness and perception of the Company’s brand amongst our target clients
* Further the company’s goal of establishing Allerton as the omnipresent brand amongst social housing providers
REMUNERATION
A base salary is negotiable, depending on experience, though the role will be heavily incentivised with a highly competitive, uncapped commission scheme. The annual pay for the role is anticipated to
