£18.35 per hour
Our client is looking for an experienced Permit Scheme Co-Ordinator.
Mainly remote working. Once a month on site for team meeting. Need Driving Licence and access to a car.
The post holder will be required to:
Undertake duties based on the needs of the service outside normal working hours, as directed by the Team Manager in accordance with agreed working patterns and the Council’s conditions of employment.
Work on site at any location in the Borough as necessary.
Hold a full driving licence and provide a car as necessary.
Must keep abreast of the latest technical development in highway maintenance techniques, the Highway Maintenance Code of Practice, the New Roads and Street Works Act, the Traffic Management Act, Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual and any amending legislation of Regulations and Acts
To communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and / or information in accurate spoken English

The national Street Manager legislative requirements,

The Street Works (Charges for Unreasonably Prolonged Occupation of the Highway) (England) Regulations 2009
The Traffic Management Permit Scheme (England) Regulations 2007
The Street Works (Inspection Fees) (England) Regulations 2002
