About the Role
We are looking for a podiatrist to join our dedicated team in Bexley. This is a full‑time, permanent position offering a range of high‑quality foot health services across South East London.
Responsibilities
* Assess and plan individual patient care, working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Deliver care in community health centres, domiciliary and residential homes, with a primary focus on high‑risk patients suffering from diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, vascular or ischaemic long‑term conditions.
* Coordinate with district nursing colleagues, the acute MDfT, and the Surgical Appliances department.
* Participate in specialist rotations including nail surgery, biomechanics clinic, and the acute MDfT wound clinic.
* Provide wound management and support patients to maintain mobility and independence.
* Participate in regular clinical supervision.
Qualifications
* Registered with HCPC (or awaiting registration if newly qualified).
* Degree in Podiatry and a Local Anaesthesia certificate.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Capacity for flexible working and willingness to travel throughout the borough for domiciliary visits.
* Enthusiasm for contributing to the Trust’s podiatry service.
