Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:30 – 15:30
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
About the Role We're looking for a hands-on, proactive Factory Operative / Machine Setter to join a busy and growing manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment who takes pride in precision, efficiency, and teamwork.
In this role, you'll be responsible for setting, operating, and maintaining production machinery to ensure smooth operations and consistent product quality. You'll be part of a close-knit team that values collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Operate and set production machinery to meet output and quality targets.
Carry out changeovers between jobs efficiently while maintaining high standards.
Perform quality checks to ensure all products meet required specifications.
Conduct basic maintenance and keep machines in top working condition.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times.
Identify and report any machine faults, hazards, or breakdowns promptly.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and reduce waste.
Complete production records and communicate any operational issues effectively.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across production, planning, and dispatch.
About You
Experienced in a manufacturing or production environment (machine setting experience is an advantage).
Reliable, punctual, and dedicated with a strong work ethic.
Able to work methodically, follow instructions, and take pride in doing a job well.
A good communicator who enjoys being part of a team.
Willing to learn new skills and contribute ideas for improvement.
