Are you a driven sales technical professional with a passion for building strong customer relationships and delivering results? We’re looking for a Specification Manager to join our team and lead the growth of our product portfolio across London and surrounding areas. In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing detailed technical advice to internal advisers, external customers and sales team members, to maximise customer satisfaction with products and services from Unilin UK.

Key Tasks and Duties:
• Work within the ethos and standards of the company
• Manage and track a project pipeline.
• Support the external sales team with specification and technical advice.
• Provide architectural specifications on an extensive range of high-performance insulation solutions to specifiers in designated area.
• Provide support for contractors and other industry participants with technical assistance whilst working closely with the Sales Team to generate opportunities and convert sales.
• Develop and present CPD presentations on a variety of subjects relating to building design
• Establish database of Energy Assessors and work closely with them to incorporate Unilin products into their SAP Assessments.
• Liaise with Architectural practices and industry stakeholders
• Provide sound technical knowledge and become key technical contact for Unilin Insulation advising those involved in specification or requiring technical assistance
• Liaising with architects and other professionals where technical advice is required and sales/specification opportunities exist
• Develop the role making initial contact with clients and building a database of the contacts
• Identify and develop presentations in co-ordination with the Specification Lead
• Make recommendations to architects on receipt of drawings and projects.
• Interact with clients/customers on a daily basis by phone/email etc.
• Attend site visits to clients/customers
• Continuously look at ways to develop systems to improve the performance and efficiencies of your role
• Attend and organize agreed trade events
• Organize and attend Unilin trade exhibitions
• Undertake any other tasks appropriate to the position, as requested by Management
• Do flexible working hours to meet company needs
• Travel throughout UK as required.
