Looking to make a real difference in education and help young people thrive?
We’re on the lookout for full-time SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs across a variety of educational settings. If you’re passionate about inclusive education and want a role where every day genuinely matters, this could be right up your street.
You’ll be helping pupils grow in confidence, develop key skills, and feel supported both in and out of the classroom. And don’t worry, you won’t be doing it alone. At Protocol Education, we’ll support you every step of the way with training, guidance, and opportunities to grow your career.
What you’ll be doing:
• Supporting pupils to access learning by adapting activities, breaking tasks into manageable steps, and offering tailored support that suits individual needs.
• Helping pupils with behaviour and emotional regulation using positive behaviour strategies and creating a calm, safe learning environment.
• Providing 1:1 support for students who need extra guidance, building trusted relationships and encouraging progress both academically and emotionally.
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and support staff to make sure every pupil gets consistent, joined-up support.
Why this role?
• A genuinely supportive environment
You’ll be joining welcoming schools where teamwork matters, wellbeing is prioritised, and your contribution is truly valued.
• Ongoing CPD and training
From behaviour management to autism awareness and differentiated learning strategies, you’ll have access to training that helps you build confidence and develop new skills.
• Rewarding work that sticks with you
There’s nothing quite like seeing a pupil overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve milestones they never thought possible. You’ll play a huge part in that journey.
What we’re looking for:
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND is desirable, including autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
• A calm, patient, and compassionate approach, especially when supporting pupils who may find learning or behaviour challenging.
• Reliability, commitment, and a proactive attitude. Someone who genuinely cares and shows up ready to make a difference.

• Opportunities across mainstream, SEND, and alternative provisions
