NIGHT SUPPORT WORKER AIDAN HOUSE, NOTTINGHAM, PERMANENT, 37HRS, GRADE 2 N, £25,141, FTE Are you an enthusiastic, compassionate and dynamic individual? If so, we need you to help us support homeless adults in our 24-hour womens complex needs service. This is an opportunity to join a motivated and vibrant team. Main Job Duties and Responsibilities Including Service development and delivery; Staff management; other resource management (Financial and Physical) as appropriate Provide face to face & one to one, informal support, dealing with a wide range of individual needs to meet contractual requirements as a minimum. Assessing the needs and risks of prospective and current service users and to assess incidents and complete relevant paperwork according to procedure. Deliver a service which maintains a safe environment and meets legal obligations around health and safety and lone working, to ensure that Service Users and tenancies are safe and secure. Control access to the building at night and patrol in and outside the building and to carry out welfare checks on residents at night. Handovers to the manager and day staff are to be conducted every morning, detailing any incidents, safeguarding concerns or work to be handed over to the day staff or management, allowing for all information to be recorded accurately on relevant systems. To undertake house management tasks including reporting and following through maintenance requirements, health and safety requirements in relation to the building and having direct responsibility for physical resources i.e. tools, equipment, accommodation buildings and/or sites. To prepare/assist Service Users in dealing with any problems arising from their accommodation including repairs, disputes debts, rent arrears etc. Work in partnership with other agencies to maximise service delivery thus contributing to contractual service obligations Empower Service Users to maintain health and well-being whilst respecting the rights and responsibilities of Service Users.
