The Benefits 23 days’ holiday plus bank holidays Option to buy and sell annual leave Life Insurance Free and confidential access to our Employee Assistance Programme – 24/7 health, financial and wellbeing support Tailored benefits platform – includes discounts on retail, travel, gym and leisure YuLife wellbeing app with 24/7 access to a virtual GP service, free will writing service and second medical opinion scheme Cycle to work scheme Electric Car scheme Long service awards Paid Volunteer Leave Training and development opportunities Brand new city centre office – including free access to gym, shower facilities, secure lockers for bikes and onsite café Role Profile: • Support the Frameworks Manager to execute the annual plan to deliver sales goals across margin and revenue. • Work closely with Subcontractors to establish our Brand and create relationships to drive business activities to meet goals and targets. • Consistently review data gained from previous tender attempts and other data paths to provide lead opportunities to the wider teams. • Demonstrating product and solution knowledge and to have an awareness of current industry and technological trends and advancements. • Responsibility for customer account queries relating to individual and team accounts. • Check though an automated email inbox for invitation to quote (ITQ’s) and government framework opportunities throughout the day, and download the tender documents for these, and send these to Paul and the account manager. • Quote requests for new customers are sent over to a New Sales account manager to quote on. • Simple quote requests for accounts that haven’t spent for 3 months are prepared and sent back to the customer. • Logging ITQs and Tenders on an excel spreadsheet, and logging if we have bid or not. • Checking for orders placed by the account managers for previous quotes, and logging these • Perform companies house and security checks to set up new customers on the internal CRM system for sales. • Producing an Excel spreadsheet for managers to show number of tenders won / lost and monthly performance/ sales figures from quotations • Logging and Updating all CCS framework customers in Samy and Sage • Every day check through the CCS quotes and orders that have been received on the catalogue and forward these on to the sales reps to place. • Throughout the month log all quotes and orders on our internal spreadsheet to keep track of all activity Person Specification Essential • Proven experience in Bids and Tenders • Previous experience within the IT industry • Knowledge of the IT hardware, services and solutions • Self-starter able to work on own initiative • Good organisational and planning skills • Proficient in the use of Excel • Able to deliver against demanding KPIs/targets • Understand the Tender process and the ability to review the Terms and Conditions and the potential liabilities to the business. • Excellent inter-personal skills Desirable • Bachelor’s degree in job relevant field. • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a Contractual environment. • Good understanding of the IT channel from vendor to reseller and the different operating models.
