JOB TITLE - Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive Primary School based in Yate.
The school is committed to providing high‑quality support for children with additional needs and offers ongoing professional development to all staff.
Depending on performance, the school may look to extend the contract or offer a permanent position.
CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS
Location: Yate
Position: Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant
Full-Time: Monday to Friday
Day Rate: £90 - £110
Hours: 8:20 am - 3:30 pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
SEN experience - Mandatory
Strong background supporting children with:
Autism
Speech & Language Needs
Learning Difficulties
Up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the last year (or willingness to complete)
Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies
Excellent communication skills
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an Enhanced Child Barred List DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for one
