Project Manager – Civil Engineering
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 + Package
We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering infrastructure and groundworks schemes across Yorkshire and the wider region.
The business operates a highly experienced civil engineering division with a strong track record delivering infrastructure projects across a range of sectors including residential and commercial developments. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are looking to appoint a Project Manager to oversee schemes in the Doncaster area.
The Role
The Project Manager will take responsibility for the successful delivery of civil engineering projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
You will manage site teams and subcontractors while working closely with commercial and technical departments to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and in line with client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing the delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure schemes
* Leading site teams including Site Managers, Engineers and subcontractors
* Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget
* Reviewing programmes and monitoring project progress
* Liaising with clients, consultants and internal departments
* Supporting commercial teams with project performance and reporting
* Maintaining high standards of health, safety and quality on site
Requirements
* Proven experience in a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager role
* Background within civil engineering or infrastructure projects
* Experience delivering works such as roads, drainage, utilities or enabling works
* Strong leadership and programme management skills
* SMSTS
* CSCS
