Depot Storeman Location: Bexley Hourly Rate: £16.60 per hour Type: Permanent, Full-Time, 40 hrs Project Partners are now recruiting for a Depot Storeman to come and join an established Depot team in Bexley. Our client is a leading utilities contractor specialising in the water and civil engineering sectors. The purpose of the Depot Storeman is to provide a safe and effective, stores, material & plant support service. You will ensure that traffic management/deliveries within the depot are always controlled & managed, and that the depot is well organised, safe and tidy. Job Role: * Receive, store, issue and record materials, equipment, spares, tools, PPE and consumables within the depot. * Place material orders, plant on & off hire requests * Upload delivery notes to the procurement system * Handle, receive and store all materials and equipment in compliance with the requirements set out in datasheets, specifications or as dictated by legislation (Health and Safety). * Monitor stock against project requirements and order as required, maintaining an ongoing accurate inventory. * Provide counter service for personnel calling in at stores to collect items, issue materials/stock for production as required. * Report damage on incoming plant & equipment.
