Job title: MHST Senior Wellbeing Practitioner (Band 6).
Pay: £38,682 to £46,580 per year (pro-rata for part-time).
Location: Peterborough and East Cambs (2 positions) – 2 Phorpres Close, Cygnet Park, Hampton, Peterborough PE7 8FZ.

Job responsibilities
* Provide case management and clinical supervision to Trainee EMHPs (EMHPs once qualified) under the direction of Senior Clinicians and Clinical Lead.
* Manage a caseload of children and young people with mild to moderate mental health problems in education settings; provide assessment and formulation of mental health difficulties in CYPs.
* Deliver evidence-based interventions for children and young people and their families in education settings, including guided self-help, CBT, and Whole School Approaches to mental health.
* Clinically develop group work for children/young people and training for teaching staff, including training and mentoring EMHP colleagues to improve quality of group work and training delivery.
* Collaborate with MHST Clinical Lead and Senior Clinicians to ensure the success of the MHST and participate in ongoing professional development.
* Participate in the University of East Anglia Supervisor course during the first year (online and in-person delivery).
Essential Qualifications & Training
* Qualified EMHP or CWP or core professional qualification relevant to mental health training
* 2 years+ experience as a Band 5 EMHP or CWP
Desirable Qualifications
* Registered Practitioner
* Further CBT training
* Supervision qualification
Essential Experience
* Understanding of common mental health problems in children and young people
* Ability to carry out risk assessments/formulations of mental health
* Experience of working in schools/colleges
* 2+ years of experience working as an EMHP/CWP
Desirable Experience
* Experience of delivering training
* Experience working in schools
* Experience of leadership or mentoring
Knowledge & Skills
* Computer literate
* Excellent communication skills
* Risk assessment knowledge and skills
* Competent and effective psychological treatment skills
* Good safeguarding understanding
UK Registration & Legal
* UK registration with the relevant professional body is required
