You will be joining a well‑established housing provider operating across Mid and West Wales, responsible for delivering high‑quality responsive repairs and property services to a diverse portfolio of homes. The organisation manages thousands of properties across Ceredigion, Powys, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire, supported by offices in Lampeter and Newtown. They aremitted to maintaining safe,pliant and well‑maintained homes for their residents.
Your new role
As a Senior Responsive Repairs Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective delivery of day‑to‑day repairs.
Your responsibilities will include conducting site surveys, diagnosing building defects, preparing schedules of work, managing contractors, and ensuring repairs arepleted to the organisation’s standards. You will also monitor repair progress, handle tenant enquiries professionally, and support continuous improvement within the repairs service.
This role is a 6 month FTC with possibility to extend.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will need:
1. Experience in building maintenance, repairs, or surveying within housing or property services.
2. Strong technical understanding of defect diagnosis and responsive repair processes.
3. Contractor management experience and excellentmunication skills.
4. Ability to conduct detailed property surveys and produce accurate reports.
5. A customer‑focused approach with the confidence to manageplex repair issues.
What you'll get in return
Salary equivalent of up to £48,000 DOE.
