At Targeted Provision, we are dedicated to transforming the educational landscape for young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND), including those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. We are particularly focused on supporting children with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).
We are seeking passionate SEN / SEND tutors who are eager to make a real difference in the lives of disengaged and vulnerable learners in Cheshire. If you have a heart for education and a commitment to holistic, trauma-informed teaching, we want you on our team!

Your Role as an SEN / SEND Tutor:
* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other educational needs.
* Support students referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journeys.
* Deliver flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver tailored teaching sessions that meet the unique needs of each student.
* Create engaging and holistic learning experiences that foster educational and social-emotional growth.
* Document lesson reports and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
What We’re Looking For:
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS).
* A minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional educational needs.
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes.
* Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this at cost if needed).
* Two professional references.
* Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments.
It is essential that you promote the health, safety, and well-being of children and young people while adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
Employment Details:
* This position involves engaging with us as a Worker for short-term assignments as they arise.
* You will work under a contract for service and be paid via PAYE.
* No guaranteed work hours or expense coverage is provided.
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us.
* This is not a self-employed tutoring or teaching position.
