Senior QA Automation Engineer
Troi Search are delighted to be working exclusively with The Gym Group in their search for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join the team.
The Senior QA Engineer will play a key role in ensuring a seamless, high-quality digital experience for The Gym Groups 1 million members, by leading quality assurance efforts across the mobile app and digital platforms.
You'll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to uphold and improve testing standards, with a strong focus on maintaining and evolving their mobile app test automation framework built on Appium.
Key requirements:
We’re looking for someone who can clearly demonstrate hands-on expertise across both automation and functional exploratory testing, with strong test planning skills and a quality-first mindset. You should have solid experience using key QA tools to a high standard on Mobile Apps, including:
* Appium
* Playwright
* Postman (API Platform)
* Confluence for test and project documentation
* Continuous Integration tools
Bonus Points for experience with:
1. An object-oriented programming language such as C# or Java
2. Lighthouse for performance testing (scripting and CI integration)
3. Sonar for security analysis (scripting and CI integration)
4. Lucidchart or Miro for visual test documentation
5. Jira/Confluence or similar tools for managing user stories and sprint tasks
