We have a FANTASTIC opportunity for a MOTIVATED and RESILIENT individual to join a residential service as a Children's Residential Support Worker in Worcestershire.
We are looking for a PASSIONATE and COMMITTED individual who wants to make a difference in the lives of young people.
No two days are ever the same, so you need to be able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. It is challenging but incredibly rewarding work!
Note: Due to the nature of the job and activities involved, we can only consider applicants who have a full driver's license.

* Title: Children's Residential Support Worker
* Salary: GBP 27,690 - GBP 30,690 (sleep allowance included)
* Location: Worcestershire
* Rota: 2 on 4 off shift pattern
* Hours: 7:30 am – 11 pm (sleep), 7 am – 11 pm (sleep), 7 am – 8 am
* Contract: Permanent

Responsibilities
* Encourage young people to engage in activities and take responsibility for their lives, appropriate to their age.
* Maintain a homely, friendly environment within the homes.
* Handle challenging behaviors when necessary.
* Protect children and young people's health and welfare from risks.
* Support children and young people to promote independence and well-being.
* Ensure a safe environment and stay informed about individual care plans, guidelines, and communication preferences.
* Support challenging behaviors safely and sympathetically.
* Develop and maintain good relationships with staff, parents, social workers, and other professionals involved in the young people's lives.
Requirements
* Experience as a Children's Residential Support Worker or with Young People is desirable but not essential.
* Experience in healthcare or social care settings is desirable.
* Must have a full driver's license to transport young people.
* Must be over 21 years of age.
* NVQ or QCF Level 3 in Children & Young People is desirable.
* Must be able to commute to Worcestershire.
