Your new role
As a Land Acquisition Surveyor, you will be a vital member of the Estates Team within the Land and Property department. Reporting directly to the Lead Acquisition Surveyor, you will support the capital investment programme. Your responsibilities will include assisting with land acquisition, access, and rights to ensure project delivery within budget and schedule. Additionally, you will provide technical advice on land-related matters such as land compensation claims, CPOs, and DCOs, supporting colleagues across the business.
Skills & qualifications required
* Hold an MRICS accredited degree and be MRICS qualified
* Extensive knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to land and property ownership and acquisition
* Experience in inspecting various types of land and property independently
* Understanding of Health and Safety procedures and regulations
* Knowledge of land ownership, management, purchase, and sale regulations
* A full driving licence

* Knowledge of rural economics and budgeting
* Interest in the rural environment and its future
* Knowledge of the water industry or experience in a regulated environment

* Salary between £41,801 and £52,251, depending on experience
