This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of stock condition surveys across social housing in the Midlands. You’ll be responsible for assessing and reporting on the condition of housing stock to help inform maintenance and investment programmes. This role plays a key part in ensuring the quality, safety, and sustainability of homes for local communities. Key Responsibilities Carry out comprehensive stock condition surveys on social housing properties across the Midlands Inspect buildings and prepare detailed reports with accurate assessments Identify defects, maintenance needs, and advise on required repairs or improvements Liaise with contractors, residents, and internal teams to gather information and resolve issues Support planned maintenance and refurbishment programmes through accurate data collection Ensure compliance with relevant health & safety, building regulations, and legislative requirements What We’re Looking For Experience in property condition surveys, ideally within social housing or public sector Strong knowledge of building construction, defects, and repair methods Ability to write clear, concise reports and communicate effectively with different stakeholders Organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to travel regularly across the Midlands Why Join?
