This privately-owned real estate company based in Essex, is seeking to recruit a recently qualified accountant seeking a first move into Industry.
The Role
Reporting to the Group FC, you’ll be responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting to support decision-making across the business. Working closely with operational and central teams, you’ll play a vital role in strengthening financial control and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Main responsibilities
* Preparation of group consolidated financial statements and annual statutory accounts
* Leading the year-end audit process and liaising with external auditors
* Monthly management accounts preparation for central functions
* Supporting corporation tax submissions alongside external advisors
* Preparation of VAT returns and ONS/statutory reporting
* Partnering with central departments to support financial planning, reporting and forecasting
* Driving process improvement and strengthening internal reporting
Your background
1. ACA/ACCA qualified accountant
