Tax Director/ Tax Advisory Partner (Accountancy firm)
Salary: Up to £100,000 per year plus benefits (Depending on experience)

Working in conjunction with Innov8 Agency Ltd we are proud to be recruiting for our established and growing independent firm of accountants based in Manchester and Liverpool. The firm is full service offering audit & assurance, accountancy services, tax, and wealth management to over 2,000 clients.
Our client, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Director / Tax Partner to manage and take responsibility for the owner managed business tax advisory offering. The role is suitable for a current tax manager looking to step up or an existing tax director looking for a new challenge. The role is predominantly advisory focused providing advice across the UK on matters such as reorganisations, demergers, M&A transactions, management incentives and one-off pieces of tax advice.

Duties & Responsibilities
As a Tax Director you will carry out the following duties:
* Lead and manage the tax team, ensuring excellent service delivery to a diverse client base.
* Liaise with Practice Partner on Tax advisory services and clients
* Provide expert advice on complex tax matters, including mergers, acquisitions, and international tax issues.
* Oversee the preparation and review of complex corporation tax returns, ensuring compliance with current tax regulations.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, becoming their trusted advisor on all business tax matters.
* Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and growth.
* Stay up to date with tax legislation and industry trends to offer clients informed and up-to-date advice.
* Type of work handled will be Reorganisation, stamp duty, mergers and acquisitions, MNA, Family investment companies, and overseas investments and corporate relocation.
Essential Criteria
* CTA qualified with extensive experience in Owner managed business tax.
* 5 years post qualification (minimum) Tax advisory experience in a UK accountancy practice environment
* Minimum of 5 years Tax accountancy specialism in a UK accountancy practice
* Proven leadership and team management skills.
* Strong technical expertise in tax advisory, compliance, and corporate tax strategy.
* Excellent reporting skills
* Organised and able to multi-task and manage various projects simultaneously
* Confidently able to offer recommendations and taxation advice to our clients.
* Highly competent with outstanding commercial acumen and a solid grasp of business aims and objective
* Demonstrable experience and a proven track record in a similar role
* Previous experience of working with clients in a variety of industries is preferred
