A leading engineering organisation is expanding its nuclear safety capability and is seeking experienced professionals at Senior, Principal and Chief Engineer levels.
These roles offer the opportunity to work on nationally significant defence nuclear programmes, supporting the design, operation and decommissioning of complex infrastructure across the UK.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Developing and leading nuclear safety case strategies
* Authoring PCSRs, PSRs, ALARP assessments and substantiation reports
* Conducting hazard analysis (HAZID, HAZOP, FMEA, HAZAN)
* Delivering deterministic and probabilistic safety assessments
* Engaging with regulators and supporting design assurance
* Leading teams, mentoring engineers and contributing to internal capability
* Supporting bids and technical solution design (Chief level)
What You’ll Need
* Degree in engineering, physics or related discipline (Master’s preferred for Chief level)
* Chartered Engineer status or working towards it
* Experience in nuclear safety within defence or similarly regulated sectors
* Strong understanding of UK regulatory frameworks and safety methodologies
* Experience with Alpha facilities, PWR2/3 systems, docking infrastructure or submarine programmes is desirable
Locations
Roles are available across multiple UK offices with hybrid working options. Occasional travel to client sites may be required.
