Job Purpose:
We're looking for qualified plumbers to join our team to train and develop into a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. As the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you will carry out a range of planned and reactive maintenance across the account.
About the role
What you'll do:
1. Under supervision carry out a range of mechanical PPM, Reactive and small works in line with risk assessments and method statements.
2. Ensure work orders and details are completed correctly with the relevant information regarding completion and any follow up work.
3. Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety legislation and the work site is kept clean tidy and secure.
4. Where the post holder has the appropriate skills and expertise they will also undertake tasks in support of infrastructure installations.
5. Complete necessary training and development courses to further progression.
6. Other duties as required.
Who you'll be:
7. Hold NVQ L3 in Plumbing/Heating or relevant discipline
8. Must be able to gain and maintain SC clearance
9. Previous experience working within an mechanical / Technical regime.
10. Engineering knowledge preferred
11. Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
12. Computer literate and knowledge of core suite of MS software
13. Adaptable and flexible approach and able to cope under pressure
14. Articulate and able to communicate with colleagues and customer at all levels
15. Adaptable and flexible approach
16. Good temperament, polite and courteous
17. Good level of interpersonal and customer relationship skills and the ability to work as a team
18. Excelling in Customer Service
19. Hold a full UK drivers’ license and able to drive company vehicles
