Health and Safety Advisor
📍 Location: Birmingham & West Midlands
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an aspiring Health & Safety professional to advance their career with a market leader in the construction sector.
The Role
Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, you will play a key role in implementing and supporting health and safety initiatives across multiple construction sites in Birmingham and the wider West Midlands.
Location & Travel
This role offers a mix of remote work and site visits. A full UK driver’s license is essential, as travel to various locations is required—though not excessive.
About You
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive professional with:
✔ At least 2 years' experience in a construction health & safety role
✔ A NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent qualification)
✔ A solid understanding of health & safety legislation and industry best practices
✔ Strong communication and problem-solving skills to drive a positive safety culture

Key Responsibilities
🔹 Assist in developing and reviewing Health & Safety policies for each site
🔹 Conduct site inspections and attend Site Review Meetings
🔹 Support the identification and management of SHE risks, issues, and opportunities
🔹 Stay updated on SHE legislation, best practices, and industry trends
🔹 Ensure effective governance and support across various sites
🔹 Promote a positive and proactive approach to health, safety, and environmental excellence
