Overview

Leadership Capability Manager role at Center Parcs UK & Ireland. £50,000 per annum plus a 12% bonus scheme. Full-time, hybrid role with a mix of office, home-working and travel to village locations.

Based at our Forest House office with a flexible pattern to be onsite a few days per week while the rest of the time you may work remotely or visit our village locations and collaborate with teams across the business.


About the role

We’re looking for a strategic and people-focused Leadership Capability Manager to design and deliver development solutions that grow confident, capable managers and future-ready leaders. This key role shapes our management and leadership development offer, supporting talent across all levels—from aspiring managers to experienced leaders. You’ll work with internal teams and external providers to deliver relevant, inclusive and high-impact development experiences. You will contribute to our leadership pipeline to meet current and future business needs and help drive performance and potential across the organisation.

Responsibilities include working with the Talent Development team to deliver practical learning solutions aligned with Center Parcs values and long-term workforce plans.


Responsibilities

* Designing and delivering development solutions for managers and leaders at all levels, ensuring practicality, inclusivity and alignment with Center Parcs values.
* Developing the management and leadership pipeline to identify and prepare future leaders in line with long-term workforce and succession needs.
* Using a blended learning approach, including designing internal programmes, facilitating workshops, and coordinating with external providers to deliver tailored solutions.
* Establishing and growing internal coaching and mentoring networks for peer-to-peer development and cross-functional learning.
* Collaborating with the wider Talent Development team on cross-functional projects that support people priorities and strategic goals.
* Partnering with stakeholders to ensure development activity is grounded in business realities and addresses performance challenges and opportunities.
* Staying up to date with the latest thinking in leadership development and bringing fresh ideas to continuously improve our offer.
* Contributing to wider learning or talent development projects based on strategic priorities and emerging business needs.
* Overseeing a team of three Talent and Performance Partners, providing guidance and acting as a point of escalation for complex issues.


Qualifications and experience

* Experience in designing and delivering leadership or management development programmes, ideally in a mid-sized to large organisation.
* Experience supporting leadership pipelines and succession strategies, aligning development activity with long-term talent needs.
* Experience working with or managing external providers and learning partners to ensure high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
* Experience building or supporting coaching and mentoring frameworks to enhance peer-led learning.
* Confident facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and tailor development to diverse leadership audiences.
* Collaborative by nature, thriving in cross-functional work and adapting to evolving business priorities.
* Awareness of emerging trends in leadership and management development and ability to contribute innovative ideas.
