Job Description
The Credit Controller will be responsible for:
3. Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors
4. Evaluating new credit requests and reviewing customers' credit rankings with banks
5. Setting up of terms and conditions of credit
6. Ensuring timely payment of debts
7. Following up payments as needed
8. Negotiating re-payment plans
9. Responding to relevant client enquiries
10. Processing and reconciliation of invoices
11. Checking and posting of receipts to accounting systems
12. Preparation of statements, client status reports and all relevant information as required
13. Managing sales ledger
14. Providing administrative support to the team
The Successful Applicant
The successful Credit Controller should have:
15. Outstanding attention to detail with an ability to reconcile complex accounts
16. Accurate, efficient and organised with the ability to prioritise tasks as needed
17. Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office and accountancy software
18. Ability to maintain strong relationships with external clients and internal colleagues
19. Professional, confident and diplomatic when liaising with others
20. Relevant qualifications eg may be working towards an accountancy degree
21. Will be happy to come into the office 5 days a week
