Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday, 11pm- 7am

Salary: up to £58,000


What are we looking for?

We are looking to recruit energetic and passionate people to support the production team by receiving product into the factory; experience is not necessary as all training will be provided!

About the role:

To lead the engineering team during the night shifts ensuring that all planned tasks are completed as per the maintenance schedule.

To prioritise and respond to any unplanned tasks in the best interests of the business to ensure that uptime is maximised.

This role will oversee and support all functions reasonably required by the business throughout the Night Shift.

As a senior person on site, you will be expected to ensure that the H&S rules and requirements are always followed, whilst actively contributing to our ongoing strive for Health and Safety excellence through near miss reporting and the completion of our Safety – Watch – Observation – Program.

Key Accountabilities of the role – What I do IT

(The below is not exhaustive)

* Using the sites CMMS complete any known planned or unplanned tasks.
* Ensure all plant and equipment is ready for production at the earliest possible opportunity.
* To manage your time and the time of others to ensure targets are reached in a safe and timely manner.
* Liaise with Engineering teams, Production teams and Hygiene teams to share and adopt best practices.
* Continually strive to improve operational routines daily.

Health & Safety responsibilities

* Follow the health and safety policies and procedures.
* Report any hazards, incidents, or injuries to the team leader or manager.
* Use the personal protective equipment and clothing provided.
* Cooperate with the management on health and safety matters.
* Participate in health and safety training and induction.

* Demonstrate awareness of the social and environmental impact of your work and strive to minimise any negative effects.
* Follow the company's policies and guidelines on sustainability, ethics, diversity and inclusion, and health and safety.
* Support your team members and collaborate with other colleagues to achieve the company's social and environmental goals.
* Seek opportunities to learn and improve your skills and knowledge on social and environmental issues relevant to your role.
