We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for increasing sales and business development, working with existing and new customers. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record of driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base in London and the South East.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet company targets.
Build and maintain relationships with existing customers.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional strategies.
Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Attend business networking events and industry trade shows to generate growth.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in business development or sales within the fire alarm and security industry.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the role.
Strong understanding of fire alarm and security systems and solutions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. Preferably experience in Sim Pro.
