About the role:
* To respond to the Council's obligations under the various information
request regimes of Data Protection, Freedom of Information, and
Environmental Information Regulations.
* To support the corporate agenda in the implementation and monitoring of robust governance of information throughout the organisation, and Powys Schools.
About you:
You will be someone who has:
* Experience of information regime practices and procedures, including an understanding of confidentiality
* The ability to handle complex contact queries, from customers and internal clients.
* Experience of communicating with the public via different methods and
channels.
* An attention to detail.
* A professional approach to Customers and internal colleagues
* An ability to work under pressure, to statutory time constraints.
What you will do:
* Prepare responses and disclosures to information requests.
* Provide advice and guidance to Staff, Schools and the public on data
protection and information requests.
* Maintain and extract data from recording systems.
* Advise and respond to breaches of personal data.

Salary: Grade 7 Point 15 to Point 19 £30,024 to £32,061 per annum £15.56 to £16.61per hour
