Help shape how SYMCA uses Dynamics 365 to deliver better services, improve processes, and make smarter use of data across the organisation.
South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority is building on its new Dynamics 365 platform as part of a wider digital transformation. This platform is central to how we manage customer relationships, streamline services, and connect systems across the organisation.
As a Senior Systems Developer, you will play a key role in developing and improving this platform. Working as part of a wider development team, you will help turn business needs into practical, scalable solutions using Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced developer who enjoys solving real problems, working closely with stakeholders, and contributing to a platform that continues to evolve.

About the role
You will support the ongoing development of SYMCA’s Dynamics 365 platform and wider digital services, helping to deliver improvements that make a tangible difference to how the organisation operates.
You will work closely with colleagues across digital, data and service teams to design and build solutions that are reliable, secure and fit for purpose.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and enhancing solutions within Dynamics 365 CRM
* Building applications and automations using Power Apps and Power Automate
* Supporting reporting and insight through Power BI
* Working with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
* Supporting integration between Dynamics 365 and other systems
* Applying development standards, security and accessibility requirements
* Supporting and mentoring other developers within the team
* Contributing to continuous improvement across the platform and development practices
About you
We are looking for a capable and collaborative developer who is comfortable working within a team and contributing to the development of a live enterprise platform.
You will bring:
* Experience developing and customising Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
* Strong working knowledge of the Power Platform
* Experience configuring, customising and extending platform capabilities
* Understanding of how to design solutions that align to platform best practice rather than custom build
* Experience working with integrations and connected systems
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
* A practical, problem-solving approach and willingness to improve how things are done
Desirable:
* Experience working in public sector or complex organisations
* Familiarity with data, reporting or service transformation initiatives
