We are a recruitment agency that specialises in finding the best drivers for transport companies. We are currently working with a reputable transport company based in Huddersfield, who are looking for HGV Class 1 cat C+E drivers to join their team.
Job Type: Ongoing trunking job
Shifts:
* Days: Monday to Friday
* Nights: Monday to Friday
* We work with ad hoc drivers as well to support any additional ad hoc shifts
Trailer Types:
* Curtainsider
* Standard
* Double Decker
Requirements:
* Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license
* Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience
* Familiarity with UK roads and regulations
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication skills
* No more than 6 points on your licence (NO IN10, CU10, MS10, TS10, TT99, DR10)
Responsibilities:
* Trunking deliveries between group and customer sites
* Loading and unloading cargo
* Adhering to safety protocols
* Occasionally assisting with load interaction
* Some shunting duties may be required
Pay Rates PAYE
* Mon-Fri DAYS £16.81 per hour (£15.00 + holiday accrual)
* Mon-Fri DAYS £17.93 per hour (£16.00 + holiday accrual)
