We’relooking for an inspiringstoresupervisorto join Cancer Research UK’s trading teamin ourclothing/fashiondepartment.You’llbe acting as an ambassador for Cancer Research UK, supporting the management teamto maximise on sales and fundraising targets. Your store will be a place where your community gets to meet our people, understand our brand, and see some of thegreat thingswe do.
You’llalso be surrounded by people who are as dedicated to beating cancer as you are.
What will I be doing?
1. Taking responsibility for thecommercialrunning of theshop.This includesdisplay and merchandising, stock management and generation,maintainingshop standards, store layout,salesand income.
2. Working alongside the management teamto meet agreed targets for donated stock, cash, benchmark gift aid, average selling price, sell through and stock processing.
3. Leading by example and providing excellent customer and supporter service.
4. Supporting the organisation and delivery of creative fundraising events for your store
5. Deputising for themanagement teambyassumingadditionalresponsibilities includingsupervision of colleagues and volunteers,assistingwith teamtrainingand undertaking keyholder responsibilities whenrequired.
6. There will be a varied amount of manual handling and physical activityrequiredwithin theday-to-dayduties of the role.

13. Flexibility, our retail teams cover the needs of their stores by working on a rota basis. Whilst a level of flexibility is needed to meet the needs of the business, wedon’tforget that you have a life outside of work too.
