Junior Health & Safety Advisor – Pharmaceutical Project (Hull City HU14 3BQ)
We are currently seeking a Junior Health & Safety Advisor to join our client, a leading M&E Contractor, on a Pharmaceutical construction project based in Hull City.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will assist the Health & Safety team in promoting and maintaining the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance on-site. You’ll play a key supporting role ensuring that all site activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with legislation and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities

Support the implementation and enforcement of company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
*
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with legal and client requirements.
*
Assist in preparing and reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
*
Support the reporting and investigation of incidents and near misses, contributing to root cause analysis.
*
Monitor workforce compliance including permits-to-work, PPE, and training records.
*
Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital H&S records and documentation.
Requirements
*
NEBOSH General Certificate or Construction Certificate (or equivalent qualification).
*
Previous experience in a construction environment (preferred).
*
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage teams on-site.
*
Proactive and adaptable approach with great attention to detail.
*
Competent in Microsoft Office and digital record-keeping systems.
*
Flexibility to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as mandatory overtime due to site demands.

Pay Rate: £25 per hour (CIS)
*
Hours: 50+ hours per week, weekends available
*
