Account Executive - Web Security/Cyber security

Location: United Kingdom- Remote

Our client, a high-growth cybersecurity vendor operating in the web and cloud security space, partnering with organisations to protect modern, distributed environments. Backed by an experienced founding team, the company is entering a critical scale-up phase with strong product-market fit and ambitious growth plans.


About the Role

They are hiring a driven and strategic Account Executive based in the UK to help scale new business across EMEA. This is an opportunity to join early, take ownership of a growing territory, and make a tangible impact as the company continues to expand its go-to-market function.


Responsibilities

Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close across the EMEA region.

Build and execute strategic account plans to drive pipeline creation and revenue growth.

Partner closely with Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Product teams to deliver tailored, value-led solutions.

Act as a trusted advisor on web security, SASE, and broader cybersecurity best practices.

Provide feedback from the field to influence go-to-market strategy and product direction.


Requirements

3+ years in B2B software sales within cybersecurity, web security, or SASE environments, including 2+ years in a cybersecurity startup with a strong GTM focus.

Experience with SASE and/or SSE technologies strongly preferred.

Proven ability to build pipeline and close deals in fast-paced, high-growth settings.

Solid understanding of security technologies including WAF, API Security, Zero Trust, SIEM, SOC, and threat detection.

Proven success owning and closing complex sales cycles.

Experience working in early-stage or scaling startups, comfortable building pipeline and processes from the ground up.

Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts in a commercial, customer-focused manner.

UK-based, with willingness to travel for customer meetings and events as required.
