If so, we‘ve an exciting opportunity for someone to join us as a Retirement Living Officer working 28 hours per week, Monday-Friday - start/finish times can be discussed to offer flexibility to suitable candidates! In this role, you'll be based on site across two schemes, Bluebell Court in Lichfield and Pennybank Court in Rugeley. Both schemes are home to residents who live independently; on scheme, you'll be the face of Midland Heart by providing an excellent Housing Management service. You'll play a crucial role in running the schemes you cover and will be the responsible person on scheme, representing Midland Heart in the event of an emergency or customer query. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Achieve high customer satisfaction, by developing and maintaining positive relationships with our customers, interacting with them regularly to ensure key messages are delivered and their needs are understood. Managing compliance including building safety, safeguarding, fire safety and health and safety, ensure that our schemes are safe, secure and thriving communities. Our ideal candidate? You'll have experience of working within Housing Management; OR Experience within a fast-paced customer service / relations role, either over the phone or face-to-face. You'll have practical IT skills (Microsoft packages and in-house systems) with the ability to write letters to customers, report repairs and complete online training. You'll be highly organised with the ability to balance multiple tasks in this varied role. Importantly, you enjoy delivering a brilliant customer service, you're confident interacting with lots of different people and you bring a positive approach to any challenges you face - we're happy to provide training for candidates with no prior Housing / Building Compliance experience! Our residents value face to face interaction and so this role is based on site – 2 days per week at Bluebell Court and 2 days per week at Pennybank Court. We're happy to consider splitting the hours over 5 days which we can discuss further with suitable candidates at interview stage to ensure the work pattern works for all! There may be times where you support other schemes, such as holiday cover, and attend our central Birmingham Office for training/team meetings. Who are Midland Heart?
