Job summary To provide expert-level clinical pharmacy services to the ophthalmology department. The post holder will lead pharmaceutical care for patients with ophthalmic disease. The role involves managing both inpatients and outpatients, contributing to MDTs, attending specialist clinics, leading service development, supervising staff, and ensuring safe, cost-effective, evidence-based use of medicines. The post holder will also act as one of the deputies for the Lead Pharmacist for Ophthalmology, ensuring resilience across ophthalmology pharmacy services.
