Job Title: Customer Service Advisor Salary: £30,000 £33,000, Bonus: Annual bonus up to £2,000 Location: Bathgate Benefits: Private medical insurance Pension (statutory scheme) Death-in-service cover 28 days holiday including public holidays (Christmas shutdown; remaining days taken flexibly, subject to business needs) Working Hours: Monday Thursday: 08:00 17:00 Friday: 08:00 16:00 Overview We are looking for a permanent Office Administrator / Customer Service Coordinator to join a small, close-knit team in a busy, fast-paced office environment. This role is heavily administration focused with significant customer contact by phone, requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a confident, friendly communication style. You will be trained on the companys systems and processes and will work closely with experienced team members. The ideal person is someone we can trust to manage their workload, follow instructions and own tasks without constant supervision. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential due to the location and lack of suitable public transport. Key Responsibilities Handle incoming customer calls in a professional, friendly manner Provide excellent customer service, gathering accurate information and updating records Complete high-volume administrative tasks, including: Data entry and updating internal systems Scanning and filing documents Creating and maintaining physical and electronic folders Setting up reminders and alerts within the system Follow established processes and a clear chain of command Work closely with the wider office team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations Prioritise tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines Support colleagues as needed, picking up allocated tasks and completing them accurately after training What Were Looking For Experience & Skills Strong administration experience in a busy office environment Confident telephone manner and proven customer service experience Good IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly Highly organised with strong attention to detail Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision once trained Personal Attributes Open, friendly, and confident personality Able to work professionally in a straightforward, informal environment Active listener who follows instructions and respects the chain of command Strong work ethic and genuine team player Reliable, with excellent timekeeping Essential Full UK driving licence and access to a car (location not well served by public transport) For more information hit the apply button and I'll be in touch.
