Job Title: Transport Manager
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
Hours: Monday - Friday
Stafforce Recruitment are currently supporting the hire of an experienced Transport Manager for a leading UK manufacturing and distribution business. You will take full responsibility for managing an in-house transport operation, ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day in-house transport operations
* Ensure full compliance with O Licence and transport legislation
* Lead and support a team of drivers and transport staff
* Plan routes and optimise fleet efficiency
* Monitor KPIs including cost, performance, and service levels
* Oversee driver compliance, training, and tachograph rules
* Liaise with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
* Proven in-house Transport Manager experience (essential)
* Valid CPC qualification (essential)
* Strong knowledge of UK transport compliance and regulations
* Experience managing fleets and driver teams
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
