Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced property lawyer to join our growing property team. The role is full-time, based in Maidenhead, with remote working available and open to relocation.
The ideal candidate will handle a range of commercial and residential property work, or solely commercial property if preferred. We welcome confident, well-presented, friendly solicitors or legal executives with excellent communication skills.
Requirements:
* Professional qualification (Solicitor, FILEX, or Licensed Conveyancer)
* At least 4 years of solid commercial property experience
* Strong people skills and team spirit
* Excellent organizational, time management, and IT skills
* Attention to detail
* Ability to adapt and work under pressure
* High standards of client care and communication
* Proven billing record
* Interest in contributing to department growth and marketing (preferred but not essential)
* Experience working independently if working mainly from home
Job Details:
Despite current market subduedness, our property work continues to grow, with anticipated significant increases in conveyancing cases over the next 6-12 months. The role involves:
* Acting for property investors (essential)
* Commercial property work
* Basic residential property work (if capable)
Location Options:
Remote, hybrid, or based at one of our four branch offices: Salisbury, Andover, Amesbury, or Fordingbridge.
The Team:
You will be part of a 27-strong property team, divided into four units: residential, commercial, property investor, and a leasehold specialist team.
Property Investor Team:
This fast-growing niche involves working with investors and developers across England and Wales on both residential and commercial properties. We expect workload to increase substantially in the coming years.
Salary:
Market rate, dependent on qualifications and experience.
