About Us: We are an established but progressive law firm with offices in Paisley and Glasgow, specialising in conveyancing, private client, and civil court work. We are seeking an experienced and highly organised paralegal to provide essential support to our Executry Solicitor. This position is ideal for a candidate with a background in private client work who is looking to further develop their career within a well-respected and supportive legal practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Executry Solicitor, including handling correspondence, preparing legal documents, and maintaining accurate client records.
* Manage all aspects of executry files, including administering testate and intestate estates, drafting legal documents, and liaising directly with clients and third parties.
* Set up case files and navigate our firm’s case management systems.
* Assist with diary management, scheduling meetings, and liaising with clients to provide updates and answer inquiries.
* Organise, prioritise, and manage tasks to ensure all deadlines are met.
* Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all documentation and tasks.
* Use initiative to anticipate the needs of the team and assist in problem-solving.
* Draft correspondence, Wills, powers of attorney, and other legal documents as required.
Requirements
* Previous experience of working in a private client team.
* Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
* Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
