Job Description:
As a Senior Quality Engineer at Rittal-CSM, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products/services. Your main responsibilities will include:
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define quality standards and specifications.
* Developing and implementing quality control processes and procedures.
* Conducting product and process audits to identify areas for improvement.
* Analysing data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for quality enhancement.
* Leading root cause analysis and corrective action efforts to address quality issues.
* Sharing your experience and knowledge by providing training, mentoring, coaching and support to team members on quality-related matters.
* Participating in the development of new products/services, ensuring quality is integrated from the beginning.
* Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications:
We encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply. To be successful in this role, you should have:
* A HNC in an engineering discipline, all the better if it’s from a mechanical engineering background!
* Operational experience of SPC, AQP and PPAP processes.
* Experience or knowledge of DFMEA and PFMEA
* Proven experience in a quality engineering role.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Knowledge of quality management systems and tools.
* A commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion in the workplace.
* Knowledge of ISO & Environmental Management standards. ISO 9001 certification is a plus!
